What You Receive
AWWO® CMS is free of charge, and we give you a personal, non-exclusive and non-transferable license to install and use it on the seats registered to your awwo.space account, under this license and the terms every AWWO® product shares.
Seats
- One Install, One Seat Each install takes one seat, linked to your Digital Signature, and moving it to another server or domain means releasing its seat and taking it again
- Your First Seat Free, with automatic updates, for as long as your account exists
- Extra Seats Bought on awwo.space at the price shown there, yours to keep, each running the version that was current when you bought it
- Releasing a Seat Once an install is removed, its seat can be released from the site's Settings or from your awwo.space account
- Live Installs Only Every install runs on a live, public domain, and installing and activating it always needs our server
Updates
Updates for an extra seat are bought per seat and per year on awwo.space, and every term ends on 31 December.
While a term runs, the seat receives every release, security fixes included, and once it ends the seat keeps working at its last version, without any further release, until the term is extended.
What You May Not Do
- Share It Copy, sell, rent, lend, sublicense or distribute AWWO® CMS, except installing it on your own seats
- Change It Modify, translate or adapt its code, or remove its copyright notices and the AWWO® name and marks it shows
- Take It Apart Decompile, disassemble or reverse engineer it, except where the law allows it regardless of this license
- Get Around It Bypass its seat check, its update checks or its signatures, or run more installs than you have seats
- Misuse It Use it to break the law or the rights of others
An install whose code has been changed is not supported, and it may be refused updates and support.
Your Content and Your Visitors
What you and your visitors put on your site is yours, and you decide what your site collects, so you are responsible for it towards your visitors, data protection law included.
AWWO® CMS helps you with that, encrypting personal data at rest and listing on your Security page every outside service your site uses.
Your Encryption Key
Your site's personal data is sealed with its own encryption key, and without that key nobody can recover it, us included, so keeping a backup of the key, of your site and of its database is yours to do.
Outside Services
AWWO® CMS connects only to the outside services you switch on and set up with your own accounts, such as Mailgun, Google, Stripe, Sinch, Cloudflare and MaxMind.
Each one is governed by your own agreement with its provider, you are responsible for following its terms, and we are not responsible for those services.
Third-Party Components
AWWO® CMS includes Open Sans (SIL Open Font License 1.1) and flag-icons (MIT), each under its own license, whose files ship with it in public/assets/.
Fonts you download through Appearance, and the MaxMind GeoLite2 database your server downloads with your own MaxMind account, come under their own licenses too.
